Gabrielle Canonico-Hyde, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and MBON, U.S.

As a member of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (U.S. IOOS) Program Office, Gabrielle led development of the U.S. Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON).  Her professional interests include integration of biological observing data and capability into U.S. IOOS and the Global Ocean Observing System, and ocean observing technologies and approaches to ensure sustained monitoring of ocean life and biodiversity.  Gabrielle serves as co-chair of the interagency National Oceanographic Partnership Program Biodiversity Working Group, and as MBON representative to the U.S. Group on Earth Observations team.
